Flat Roof Manor is located in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Completed in 1788, The Manor captures the love of a father to his daughter. A wealthy businessman, he sought to open the door of fortune to his children. For his beloved daughter’s wedding, he gifted her the keys to the Flat Roof Manor. The Manor was an extraordinary wedding gift. It is thought to be designed by the eminent architect, Michael Thibault.
This 18th-century classic is also one of just three two-storied neo-classical manors built in this style in the Cape. It was there that the newlywed couple would entertain in grandeur, seeing any occasion as one to celebrate. Years later, Flat Roof Manor invites you to discover your own reasons to celebrate.
